I set up a local AI that reads supplier invoices so nobody in your office has to type them in. It runs on a PC in your office, so your invoices never leave the building. It reads each PDF (supplier, VAT number, dates, lines, totals), then code checks every line and total. A person approves, fixes or holds each invoice in a review page, and the approved ones export to a CSV for Xero's bill import. My test: 10 invoices in Dutch, German and French layouts, 10 of 10 read right, about 4 seconds each. It also flagged the invoice where the supplier's total was 10 too high.
