Maharashtra FDA has taken action against five warehouses for selling expired food products worth over Rs 48 lakh. Inspections revealed serious hygiene issues, including rodent infestations and lack of proper documentation. Warehouses operated by Reliance, Zomato Hyperpure, and Blinkit were found violating safety protocols significantly. Two unlicensed establishments were also shut down for storing and selling expired products.
