I designed a 3D-printable net launcher concept to intercept drones

Wait 5 sec.

I’ve been working on a concept for a net launcher designed to capture drones before they reach a protected area. The design is 3D-modeled and prepared for 3D printing. The concept uses a net with a claimed range of up to 10 meters to intercept a drone without relying on direct impact. I’m interested in feedback from the 3D printing, product design, and robotics communities. What do you think of the design? What would you improve from a mechanical design and prototyping perspective? Note: This is a design concept; its effective range and interception performance have not been independently verified. submitted by /u/Immediate-Page1090 to r/3D_Printing [link] [comments]
