Hello, everyone! My name is Eclipsa, and I'm an independent fantasy author currently working on a novel titled Hexism which is a religion but also a story I am currently crafting centered around one goddess. I'm looking to commission an artist to create an original, human-drawn book cover based on my character and design reference. Commission details: - Project: Fantasy novel book cover - Budget: $200 USD maximum - Style: Dark fantasy, cinematic, mystical, and character-focused - Artwork: A detailed illustration featuring my protagonist, with symbolic elements and dramatic lighting - Rights: Commercial-use license for book publication and agreed promotional uses - Timeline: Flexible - Artist credit: Full credit in the book's opening information/creative credits section Artwork Size and Technical Specifications: - Type: Original illustrated fantasy book cover - Orientation: Vertical / portrait - Canvas dimensions: 2000 × 3000 pixels minimum - Aspect ratio: 2:3 - Resolution: High resolution, with 300 DPI metadata - Color profile: sRGB for digital use - Final delivery: High-quality PNG - Text: Custom title and author-name typography, if included in the agreed scope - Usage: Commercial book publication and promotional materials About the references: I have AI-generated concept images that I use to visualize my original characters and cover ideas. I'm looking for a human artist who is comfortable interpreting these references and creating original artwork for the finished cover. I'm happy to discuss the design in greater detail with artists that are interested. The overall idea is that it is two versions of the same character, a pretty complicated outfit with a unique design, battle wounds, it is a book cover, and it has a few more details in there. I'm also not sure whether a.work of art with the same character depicted twice is more money, but I read in the rules that it is double the amount so is that potentially 200? Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration! — Eclipsa Moonshine submitted by /u/One_Cookie3096 [link] [comments]
