Yeah, I can also see it being less expensive in a daycare where your child is watched along with a few others. I'm a SAHM so im unfamiliar but isn't the going rate for a daycare like that something like $30 per kid per day? That'd be $150... but for just one of them. I think if she'd potty trained the 4 year old and utilized free universal pre-k we have here she could actually maybe find a daycare that would take the 2 year old and stay within the budget, but I get the feeling she's not being entirely honest about 4 y/o likely being some sort of special needs.
