I'm a full stack dev from India. I built a resume builder + ATS checker as a side project (ResumeBuildPro) and just added a public preview of the checker. How it works: upload a PDF/DOCX or paste your resume text. You get an overall score, four category scores and your top 3 issues. For the preview, the file is read in your browser. It is not uploaded. What it is not: it is not AI, and it does not simulate Workday or any specific ATS. It runs 23 plain rule checks (missing sections, formatting that breaks parsing, contact details, bullet metrics and action verbs, weak phrases, length, and an optional job description keyword match). The upside is you can see exactly why you lost points. Full report + fixes need a free account (3 full checks per month). There are paid plans for more, but the preview is free. Try it: https://resumebuildpro.com I'd love honest feedback: - Does the score feel fair on your resume? - Did anything break (scanned PDFs, two-column layouts)? - What would make you trust a checker like this? submitted by /u/Ok_Technician_9718 [link] [comments]
