I design functional parts for 3D printing: replacement knobs and buttons, brackets, adapters, case and drawer inserts, mounts and enclosures. How it works: you send measurements, photos with a ruler in shot, or a 3D scan. I model the part (parametric, in OpenSCAD) and send you a render with the dimensions first. You pay only once it looks right, then you get the STL. If it's bigger than your printer, I split it into bed-sized pieces with dovetail joints. Recent job: a foam-replacement insert for a 22" hard case, fitted to a scan of the case's inside corner and split into 6 dovetailed tiles for a 256 mm bed. The client's test print fitted first time. I don't print or ship, so you print it yourself or at a local print shop. Small parts start at $20, and bigger fitted pieces are quoted once I see the measurements. Payment is by card through Revolut. I'm a 4th-year software engineering student and do this alongside my studies. PM me with what you need. submitted by /u/MakMak737 [link] [comments]
