We have one child and we are so super happy and content with that. I wanted 2-3 total, but this economy is wild. I work a full-time nursing job and two PRN nursing jobs and my husband works full-time. Luckily our son is now in elementary, but he still has before- and after-school care many days. We pay for all 5 days because my schedule isn’t set. It’s $230/week for him to be there for 10 minutes in the morning and about an hour after school. They do take him to and from school as well, luckily. But almost 1k a month for about 20 hours a month is crazy! Child care, food, clothing, any activity and housing are so expensive now. I can’t even imagine how we would do it with more than one kiddo at this point!
