I built an iPhone app for reviewing and editing podcasts before kids listen

Wait 5 sec.

I’m the developer of Podcast Filter, an iPhone app for parents who want to review a podcast episode before their child hears it. It analyses spoken words and flags passages with surrounding transcript and a preview of the original audio. The parent chooses what to keep or cut, then separately approves the exact edited version for a named child. Kids see only their approved library and can download episodes for offline listening. I built it around parent review: automated analysis can miss passages or flag something you’d keep. It doesn’t control other apps on the phone. The app also includes a sample report so you can explore the review flow. Free to download for iPhone (iOS 17+); analysis uses in-app purchase credits, with no subscription. App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6809083299 I’d appreciate feedback on the review flow—especially how clearly it shows what will be removed before approval. submitted by /u/Temporary-Shop2453 [link] [comments]
