Daniel Dubois is not short of options after stopping Fabio Wardley for a second time on Saturday night. The first time they met in May, ‘Triple D’ picked himself up off the canvas twice in the opening three rounds to stop Wardley in the eleventh stanza. Dubois made quick work of Wardley and is now chasing the biggest fights in the divisionGettyThis time, Dubois faced no such adversity as he blew away Wardley in the second round of a one-sided rematch to retain his WBO heavyweight title.Dubois is now setting his sights on the biggest fights in the division, with four matchups in particular being talked up in the immediate aftermath.Filip HrgovicAfter getting his hand raised, Dubois faced off with former foe Filip Hrgovic in the ring.Dubois beat Hrgovic on cuts two years ago in a gruelling and highly competitive contest in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That fight has now been placed back on the table after Hrgovic claimed the vacant IBF heavyweight title with a stunning come-from-behind win over Moses Itauma in August.“I want that fight so much,” said Hrgovic of a potential rematch with Dubois.“He was the only man who defeated me. I was sick, injured, I was cut on both eyes and with all that I was winning the fight.“If I’m healthy, I will smash this guy. He is not on my level.“He is slow; he has a good jab, I must admit, but I will smash him.”Fury vs Joshua winner The biggest fight Dubois could land next is undoubtedly one with the winner of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua‘s blockbuster showdown on December 11. GettyThe WBA ‘super’ heavyweight title is reportedly up for grabs for the winner, adding an extra incentive. It may be a hard sell if Joshua gets his hand raised, considering Dubois annihilated him in September 2024.But a fight with Fury would be big business.Agit Kabayel The last piece of the undisputed puzzle, the WBC belt, is in the hands of arguably the most in-form fighter in the division, Agit Kabayel.Kabayel defends his green and gold strap for the first time against Nelson Hysa on November 28 in Dusseldorf, Germany.A clash with Dubois would establish the No.1 heavyweight of the post-Usyk era.But Kabayel is the mandatory challenger to Usyk’s WBC beltGettyOleksandr Usyk trilogy Dubois has already been knocked out twice by Oleksandr Usyk, and there is unlikely to be much appetite for a trilogy. However, Dubois is chomping at the bit to exact his revenge and talked up the possibility of running it back with the lineal king at his post-fight press conference. “Definitely, definitely, I’d love that,” said Dubois when asked if he would welcome a third fight with Usyk.“We’re coming out on top this time. We’ve made our mistakes, and we’re coming out on top.”Watch Boxing on DAZN*If you click a link in this boxout, we will earn affiliate revenueSign up to DAZN to access the definitive subscription for boxing fans.Upgrade to DAZN Ultimate from just £24.99/month, guaranteeing access to 185+ fights annually, a minimum of 12 pay-per-views at no extra cost, as well as every Lega Serie A match and other elite football access.Alternatively, DAZN Standard is just £15.99/month, with the caveat you will have to pay for pay-per-view events.Click here to sign up.
