What an incredible weekend for the Raeburn Shield! 🛡️ Seeing it amongst the fans, then on the pitch and in players' hands after the All Blacks game was just magic. My DMs have been flooded with people excited to have seen it or held it. The momentum feels huge! Next mission: **Murrayfield on 7 November**, when Scotland challenge the All Blacks. I'd love to connect with broadcasters about filming something at **Raeburn Place**, where Scotland beat England in the first international in 1871. The All Blacks are bringing the title back to its birthplace. What a story for Scottish rugby! For anyone new to this, the **Raeburn Shield** is men's rugby's lineal world title. Think international Ranfurly Shield. Beat the holders, take the title, defend it in every eligible Test, home or away. Winner stays on! And the women's equivalent, the **Utrecht Shield**, changed hands this weekend too, with Canada ending England's record-breaking reign! Two fan-built titles, real rugby history, and an incredible community bringing them to life. Honestly, I can't wait for what's next! 🏉 submitted by /u/davesofthunderdome [link] [comments]
