My first screensaver project grew into an Android live-wallpaper app (free, no ads)

Wait 5 sec.

A few weeks ago I saw a bouncing flip clock someone posted here (the FlipCloc dev, credit where it’s due) and wanted one as my screensaver. That turned into Nap, a small collection of screensavers for the Mac, and now it’s on Android as live wallpapers. What it does: Live wallpapers that keep moving on your home screen: a flip clock, a paper plane, a pendulum wave, a plotter drawing figures, a puzzle cube and a football. Each one comes in a set of styles and backgrounds, or your own colours or photo. It can also run as the screen saver while your phone charges. Everything is drawn live in code, not looping videos, so it stays sharp and light on battery. Free, no ads, no account, and it doesn’t ask for internet access. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scannertechs.nap It’s v1, so I’d love to hear what feels off, what phones it misbehaves on, and what screensaver you’d want next. submitted by /u/MrScanner_ [link] [comments]
