bet365 have teamed up with 99 Royale to bring its competitive multiplayer slots games to its casino platform. It’s a unique game format which sees up to 99 players battle it out in real-time sessions to become the last one, or last few, standing – and win a share of the battle prize. When players have winning spins, they can launch an attack on other players to knock them out and move up the leaderboard.Helen Walton, Chief Commercial Officer at G Games said: “We’ve always admired bet365 for always being focused on innovation. They are always looking for what’s next, always thinking about what might appeal to players – it makes them the perfect customer for 99 Royale and we’re so proud to be launching with them.”Clement Le Scanff, Head of Gaming at bet365 said: “99Royale is a genuine step-change — bringing real-time multiplayer competition into slots. It’s high-energy, social, and built for players who want to compete, not just spins.”The 99 Royale section can be found under the ‘Slots’ tab of the bet365 app or website, featuring three games – Ra the King, Ragnarok and Cherry Blossom. Entering any of these sees battle commence. How it worksAs players win rounds, they charge their attack ‘meter’. When fully charged, they can take aim at other players – be it the person at the top of the leaderboard, the bottom, the player who recently attacked them, or a completely random target.Successful attacks moves the player up the leaderboard, and boosts their chances of finishing in a winning position – the last few remaining will receive a share of the prize pot, and the higher ranking, the better. Only the number one player at the end of a battle is crowned the battle winner. In some battles, there will be opportunities to take on side missions whereby completing extra objectives can earn the player some additional rewards.About the authorNathan HillNathan Hill is an experienced sports writer who obsessively follows football – both the round ball and American kind – as well as range of other sports including F1, basketball, darts and snooker.Remember to gamble responsiblyA responsible gambler is someone who:Establishes time and monetary limits before playingOnly gambles with money they can afford to loseNever chase their lossesDoesn’t gamble if they’re upset, angry or depressedGamcare – www.gamcare.org.ukFind our detailed guide on responsible gambling practices here. For help with a gambling problem, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 or go to www.gamstop.co.uk to be excluded from all UK-regulated gambling websites.
