BTCUSD H4 | Rejection Below 84,200, Short Toward 76,500Bitcoin / TetherUSBINANCE:BTCUSDTkitotacBitcoin bounced from the 80,400 lows back into the 83,000 area but is still trading under the 84,210 resistance line. The recent highs have stepped down (87,500, then 86,900, then 85,800), so this bounce looks like a rally into supply inside a pullback, not a new leg up. The new weekly levels (Pivot DeMark, last week’s H 84,347.63 / L 79,781.40 / C 81,648.48) put the weekly PP at 81,389.73, and price is sitting above it, so a move back through that level is the first sign sellers are in control. Why I’m leaning short Lower highs. Each rally since the 87,000 area has topped lower. Resting under resistance. Price is about 1,200 points below the 84,210 line, which is also close to last week’s high at 84,347. Pivot above price. The weekly PP is below the current price, so a loss of 81,390 turns it from support into resistance. Space below. There’s little support between the PP and the 79,700 area (S1 and last week’s low), and then the range low near 76,500. Trade plan Entry: ~82,970 (current area), or on an H4 rejection candle near 83,000-83,500. Invalidation: H4 close above ~84,210. That reclaims the resistance and the last swing high. TP1: 81,390 (weekly PP). Take partials and move the stop to breakeven. TP2: ~79,700 (S1 / last week’s low). TP3: ~76,540 (range support). Risk/reward: with a stop at 84,210 (about 1,240 points), TP1 is roughly 1:1.3, TP2 is 1:2.6 and TP3 is 1:5.2. What would change my mind An H4 close above 84,210, with 85,800 and then 87,000 as the next targets. Macro or equity-market shocks, since BTC can override any chart pattern.
