SPCX Fib Retracement Holds 0.236, Bullish Bounce Into EarningSpace Exploration Technologies CorpBATS:SPCXEmpressBTCIn my last post I said the breakdown could send SPCX into the high-volume area, and it did. Using the Volume Profile and the Fibonacci retracement from the $140.76 low to the $152.16 high, price has now cleared $158 and the $152 node, and found support near $143. I said there was little volume between $167 and $153, so price had nothing to slow it down, and that's exactly how it played out. SPCX has now lost more than 10% this month. The bearish view did its job, and I'm not going to keep selling after the targets are hit. Price reacted at the 0.236 level at $143.45, and on the 15M chart I'm now leaning bullish for a bounce. The reason is earnings. SpaceX reports Q3 after the close tomorrow, with analysts expecting EPS of 14 to 23 cents on about $12.89B in revenue. Evercore raised its target to $275 and expects a revenue beat. After a drop this deep, a good report can squeeze it fast. The risk is spending. Capex may move the stock more than anything else, and cash burn could worry the market even if revenue and EPS meet expectations. My targets are set at $147.81 first, $149.72 second, and $151 as the final one. Below $140 the bounce is invalid and I step aside. $152 hit → $143 reaction → $147.81 next. That's the structure I'm watching.
