I built a lifting log because every one I tried got slow between sets or turned into a social network

Wait 5 sec.

Full disclosure, I'm the developer of Lifter Log, so I'm biased. I wanted a lifting log that does three things well: log a set in a couple of taps, keep the rest timer going when the phone is locked, and show me whether I'm actually getting stronger. Most apps I tried were either slow between sets or added a feed I never asked for. What it does today: each exercise opens with your last session pre-filled, so you tweak the numbers and save. Weight can be typed or entered as plates, total or per side. The rest timer lives on the lock screen (Live Activity and Dynamic Island on iOS). The Analytics tab shows sessions, volume, PRs, an automatic estimated 1RM trend and sets per muscle group, so you can see which muscles you've skipped lately. You can import an existing program from a spreadsheet, PDF or photo, and it reads InBody and DEXA reports into body composition charts. No feed, no followers. iOS and Android, 21 languages. Pricing, upfront: 30-day free trial, then a subscription. There is no permanent free tier. What I'd love feedback on: which part of logging still feels slow, and what's missing from the Analytics tab. I'll answer every comment. https://www.lifterlog.app/get?src=rd-sideproject [Owner: attach a 10-15 s screen recording of logging a set and the lock-screen rest timer when you post this.] submitted by /u/Positive_Fly_1110 [link] [comments]
