I built a Mac screenshot app where one shortcut does everything. Looking for beta testers.

How capturing stacks work for bug reports for example Hey all. I've spent the last few weeks building PixNip, a native screenshot app for macOS, and I'm looking for a handful of people to beta test it before launch. (Planned launchdate is November 1st) The idea: one shortcut for everything. Press ⇧⌘1, then a letter: A for area, W window, S scrolling capture, T to copy text, R to record, K to start a stack. No menus, no ten shortcuts to remember. What it does: Instant paste. The moment you let go, the screenshot is on your clipboard. ⌘V into Slack, Mail, Notion, wherever. Stack mode. Take several shots in a row, annotate them all in one window, and export them as one image or a step-by-step PDF. Made for bug reports and how-tos. Auto-Redact. One click hides emails, phone numbers, card numbers and API keys before you share. It runs entirely on your Mac; nothing is uploaded. Scrolling capture, copy text from anything (OCR), Beautify for social posts, screen recording, and workflows plus a CLI if you're into automation. It's built in Swift, needs macOS 14 or later, and it's signed, notarized and updates itself. Site: https://pixnip.app What I'm asking: use it as your everyday screenshot tool for a week or two, then tell me what breaks, what's confusing and what's missing. There's a 3-minute feedback form I'll send you guys. Everyone of the chosen testers who send feedback gets a free PixNip Pro license at launch. Comment or DM me and I'll send you the beta link. Happy to answer anything about how it's built. submitted by /u/ClickLickBoom [link] [comments]
