Since then, we’ve had the international break, secured a good point away at Manchester United and travelled to Marbella for a productive training camp. “I was pleased with the performance at Old Trafford. We played well, creating many chances and we deserved more than a point. Most importantly to me though, was the fight and unity we showed as a team – especially after Rodrigo’s red card. “It’s always tricky when you go down to 10 men, but the reaction we showed was fantastic. We played for each other, we worked as a team and we showed immense belief until the final whistle. It was exactly the attitude I want to see every time we step onto the pitch. “Our courage, character and energy ensured we got a well-deserved equaliser through Dom, who led the line tirelessly all game. We must now build on that performance and carry the momentum forward. And that’s what we focussed on during our training camp in Spain. “It was a productive few days in which the players worked hard. It gave us a further opportunity to gel as a team and build bonds on and off the pitch. I’m pleased with the progress we are making and how much the players are adopting our ideas. “It’s important that we now show what we’ve been working on to you, the Tottenham fans. And that starts with tonight, as we host Coventry City. Frank Lampard has got the Sky Blues well organised and they’re coming off the back of a really impressive win against Newcastle United last time out. “All games in the Premier League are tough, and we know that Coventry will provide a threat – but we’ll be ready. We’ve been improving game by game and I’m confident that trend will continue tonight. “We’re determined to step out there with the same energy and passion we showed against Manchester United and get you off your feet. A night game under the lights always brings a special atmosphere and I can’t wait to feel that again tonight.”Roberto De Zerbi's message to the Tottenham Hotspur fans ahead of the Coventry game in the Premier League…"It’s great to return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a month on from our last game in N17.Since then, we’ve had the international break, secured a good point away at… pic.twitter.com/O3hjcutGtA— Chris Cowlin (@ChrisCowlin) October 19, 2026Spurs must turn performances into points in the Premier LeagueThe Premier League is ruthless, and De Zerbi is finding that out this season as his side sit bottom of the table despite not performing badly in every match.Spurs have been impressive in their last two league outings and could easily have taken three points had their finishing been sharper. If Tottenham are to avoid relegation, they simply need to start turning performances into wins.Spurs’ home form is another glaring weakness, as they remain one of just four sides yet to register a win at their own ground.READ MORE: Tottenham fans will be shocked by pace of Xavi Simons’ recovery after latest videoThe post Roberto De Zerbi pens inspiring 360-word letter to Tottenham fans ahead of crucial Coventry clash appeared first on Spurs Web.
