The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament has adjourned its sitting after the Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) failed to appear before it for the second time.The Committee expressed strong displeasure over the official’s absence, describing it as a show of gross disrespect to Parliament.“This is gross disrespect. We’ll write to the Chief of Staff about his behaviour,” the Chairperson of PAC fumed as it adjourned the sitting.The latest absence marks the second time the DACF Administrator has failed to appear before the Committee, prompting members to consider formally drawing the attention of the Chief of Staff to the matter.The Committee did not proceed with its scheduled business and adjourned the sitting following the official’s failure to attend.
