After seeing the new Halloween custom makeup that DTI revealed a few days ago I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping that this time they would give us something more than just a basic cutesy-girl facial features + Halloween details... I know DTI can't be too explicit and add blood, wounds and gore but they can still take inspo from creepy / uncanny media, science fiction, mythological creatures... Not just dolls, vampires, zombies and witches. I would love to see some unconventional or 'ugly' facial features: > mouths with a lot of teeth, forked tongue, alien noses, tentacles, feathers. Also, makeup that screams weird: > strange formations, lines, eyes, glitches, big eyes that feel uncanny... Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like the Halloween update, that is flooded with creative, unconventional and fantastic themes, needs more experimental stuff than what we are currently getting. All my thoughts apply for the clothes, sets and items in the updated too. I feel like we need to branch out from just the cutesy style.   submitted by   /u/menninna [link]   [comments]
