The overlay took one year off when Disneyland Resort closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, but returned in 2021. In 2026, the Haunted Mansion Holiday officially opened on August 21.A few months into the season, Magic Key Passholders can celebrate the Haunted Mansion Holiday with a gift from Disneyland Resort: a set of four lenticular trading cards celebrating 25 years of the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.Each card depicts one of the four transforming portraits from the Stretching Room in the Haunted Mansion Holiday, including Jack Skellington, the exterior of the Haunted Mansion, Zero pulling Santa Jack’s sleigh, and Sally.How to Get YoursCredit: DisneyMagic Key Passholders can pick up their first trading card on Monday, October 26, alongside a frame to display their collection.
