'TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard' Movie Night (Speightstown) has emerged from her GII Lexus Raven Run triumph in good form, and has left her connections with some thinking to do as to how they want to approach the coming months with their budding star.Collecting her first graded win on the day her trainer, Will Walden, celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary, the 3-year-old provided the conditioner a memorable birthday present as well–all three events fell on the same Saturday. Since then, she emerged in good form as of Sunday morning since shipping back to Churchill Downs.“She's great,” said Walden. “Cooled out good yesterday and looked awesome jogging on the road this morning. Super happy with the effort. She's had a long year. She's been going since April. She's been great, such a talented filly, always shown that. Just really happy to get one for WinStar. They've been a lot to my family over the years. It was so great to get a graded stakes win at Keeneland for them.”Walden mentioned he would circle up with David Hanley and Gerry Duffy at WinStar to decide what the path forward might look like for Movie Night. “You can go two ways: You can keep her in training and go to the [GI] La Brea [Dec. 26 at Santa Anita], or you could give her the time now and have her back in training by Jan. 1 and point to two Grade Is at the beginning of the spring, both at tracks that she loves–Keeneland in the [GI] Madison or Churchill in the [GI] Humana Distaff. If you wait until December, it would be tough probably to give her a break and make those races.”Walden also included an update on his two Breeders' Cup contenders currently based at Churchill as well–Mile hopeful Rhetorical (Not This Time) and Turf possible Minaret Station (Instilled Regard). The former put in his first breeze since winning the GI Coolmore Turf Mile, clocking a half in :49.80 (54/81) over the Churchill main on Sunday morning. The conditioner said both horses would have one more work at Churchill next week before shipping to Keeneland Oct. 26.The post Movie Night in Good Shape Post Raven Run Success, Connections Debating Paths appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
