Whats is the future outlook of the medicine in Canadá ?

Wait 5 sec.

I am from Brazil and am planning to apply for medical school within the next two years. I am a 27-year-old nurse. In Brazil, medicine was once seen as a "ticket out of poverty," but today, it is rare to become a millionaire—and if you do, it would take an entire career to get there. Furthermore, pay for shifts has plummeted; what used to be around 1,800 [reais] is now less than 900. When the future of medicine in my country is discussed, the outlook is very pessimistic—to the point where one might go months or even years without finding a first job, unless one has a well-connected family member. Additionally, public institutions often fail to pay for shifts worked, and if you attempt to take legal action or claim your rights, you end up facing retaliation. Given this, I would like to know: what is the current landscape and the future outlook for physicians and surgeons in Canada? submitted by /u/Longjumping-Two-9173 [link] [comments]
