I built a tool that cuts SEC insider filings down to the purchases worth reading. Looking for honest feedback (Pro is free for 30 days) I've been building InsiderEdge on nights and weekends, and it's finally at the point where I need people who aren't me to use it. **The problem:** company insiders have to report trades to the SEC on Form 4 within two business days. Most of those filings are noise: stock grants, option exercises, tax sales. The interesting ones, insiders spending their own money on the open market, get buried. **What it does:** - Reads every Form 4 from SEC EDGAR five times a weekday and keeps only open-market purchases of $50K or more - Scores each one 0 to 100 on size, context (are other insiders buying too?) and how recent it is, and shows exactly why it scored what it did - Flags clusters, when several insiders at one company buy within 30 days - "Your stocks": list the tickers you own and get an email whenever an insider buys any of them - Senate and House stock disclosures, free for everyone, no account needed It's deliberately quiet. Most weeks there's one or two standout clusters and a handful of strong individual buys across the whole market, so an email from it should mean something. **The offer:** Pro is free for 30 days for new subscribers. A card is required, and you can cancel in two taps under Account → Manage Billing before day 30 and pay nothing. The congressional feeds are free with no trial at all if you just want to poke around. **What I'd love feedback on:** Is it clear within 10 seconds what the app does? Does the score make sense when you read the "why it scored" breakdown? What would make you check it more than once a week? Anything broken, confusing or ugly, especially on a phone Brutal is fine. I'll read and reply to every comment. Free Trial I built and run this. Not financial advice, just data from public filings. submitted by /u/Ibemopar [link] [comments]
