OBC students' body writes to President on caste census - The HinduPublished - October 17, 2026 11:50 am IST - HyderabadThe All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) on Friday wrote to President Droupadi Murmu, seeking her intervention to ensure that OBC enumeration and caste codes remain within the constitutional framework.In a letter, AIOBCSA national president G. Kiran Kumar requested the President’s office to ensure the inclusion of OBCs in the Census 2027 questionnaire and the introduction of standardised, State-wide unique caste codes for all castes, including OBCs, SCs and STs.
