If you invoice clients by email, you probably know the problem: an invoice goes out, nobody pays, and you only notice weeks later. Then you have to write the "just following up on this" email, which never gets less awkward. So I built Courtside. You sign in with Gmail and it: goes through the last 90 days of your sent mail and finds invoices that were never paid, with a total of what you're owed drafts a reminder in the same email thread, in your own words, and you decide whether it goes out backs off when the client replies "paid" or "sending it Friday". It works with plain PDF invoices and attachments, not just ones from Stripe or QuickBooks. The inbox part came later because I needed it: it sorts mail into what needs you, what you're waiting on, and the rest (with matching Gmail labels), drafts replies, and notices promises you made, like "I'll send the quote Friday", so they don't slip. It's FREE for the first 100 users during the 3 months while it's in beta, no card needed. If you join now, you'll also get the option to buy it once for life. Two things to know before you click: Google is still reviewing the app, so you'll see a "Google hasn't verified this app" screen. Click Advanced, then Go to Courtside. It needs Gmail access because that's where the invoices are. It doesn't keep copies of your emails, only what it shows you (client, amount, due date), and you can delete everything from Settings. What I'd love to hear: Did it find anything you'd forgotten about? Did the reminder sound like you? And if it's no use for how you invoice, I want to know that too. Brutal feedback is appreciated. submitted by /u/Dry-Culture365 [link] [comments]
