Disclosure: I built Rise to Riches, a free browser investing game. I put together a teacher guide with a printable student worksheet here: https://investmentsimulator.app/for-teachers One way to use it in a lesson: Have students explain how they would allocate a virtual portfolio before starting. Play through a historical market period. Students can play solo, or join a shared room using a game code. Compare the portfolios with the S&P 500 benchmark, then discuss concentration, diversification, liquidity, and the role of luck. A useful debrief question: Would you make the same decisions if you didn’t already know what happened in that period? No account is required to play. Classroom settings can turn off chat and AI feedback and keep classroom results off the public leaderboard. The teacher guide explains the setup. The game uses virtual money and historical annual returns with simulated movements within each year. It is a learning exercise, not an exact replay of daily market prices. submitted by /u/Strange-Occasion-690 to r/TeachersPromote [link] [comments]
