BTCUSDT 1D: Oct 15 Sweep Reclaimed, Reload Zone Still OpenBitcoin / TetherUSBINANCE:BTCUSDTTheChartWhisperrUpdate on the BTCUSDT thread, on the daily. The correction from the 87,400 top has followed the path laid out last time. A printed near 80,400. The bounce arrived as B, wicked to about 84,150, and was sold back under the 83,500 shelf. A C leg followed. What it hasn't done is reach the 75,000 to 77,200 area I was watching. The low so far is about 79,700, set on Oct 15. That candle is the one to look at. It undercut the Oct 8 low by roughly 700 points, which is where stops sit, then closed back near 82,250. Its volume bar is among the heaviest of the last two weeks, on a candle that finished about 2,500 points off its low. A heavy-volume sweep that closes near the open reads as sellers being absorbed. It's one bar, though, and today's candle so far is a small inside range, so it's a lean, not a conclusion. That leaves two readings of the correction. In the first, C is a flat that finished just past A, the sweep was the low, and the reload starts higher than projected. In the second, the sweep was a sub-wave and C is still headed for the heavy node near 77,200, with monthly support near 76,300 and the 75,000 wave 4 low beneath it. The profile has two nodes, one near 84,500 and that heavier one, and a rotation from the first to the second would be ordinary. Price at 82,300 sits between them, where there's less volume to slow a move in either direction. The chart can't separate the two yet. Under the Continuation Acceleration Protocol (CAP), gate one, structure, is the five-wave advance from the July low, bullish while price holds above the wave 1 high near 67,000. Gate two, the zone, is the 79,700 low in the near term, with 75,000 to 77,200 as the deeper floor. Gate three, the trigger, is NOT confirmed. It needs a lower-timeframe CHoCH, a daily close back above the 83,500 shelf, then a close above the 84,150 B high. Weight goes on the retest of whichever level breaks, not on the break candle. What confirms it is that sequence, then a new high above 87,400. What invalidates the sweep is a daily close below 79,700, which puts the heavy node back in play. A close below 75,000 means the correction is running deeper than the usual retrace to the fourth wave. A close below 67,000 would say the whole advance was corrective. A sweep proves nothing until price accepts above it. The 83,500 shelf is where acceptance either starts or doesn't.
