I have a background in general med-Surg Tele, Stroke and outpatient Med-Derm. I’ve been away from the bedside for almost 4 years and I feel rusty/nervous about going back but I have to pay the bills. This job is a cardiac unit that manages drips, my only experience is with a heparin drip. I have a lot to review in general but I’m looking for advice/references for the cardiac drips. Any tips on learning them, things to avoid? Things I should ask my preceptor? The ratios are 1:4 can be up to 1:5. Also any good sources for a refresher on assessment/report, good report sheets for a cardiac unit? submitted by /u/CodeGreige [link] [comments]
