Arsenal are reportedly facing a setback in their pursuit of Arda Guler, with the Real Madrid midfielder seemingly moving closer to committing his future to the Spanish club. The Gunners had hoped to use an approach similar to the one that helped them sign Martin Odegaard, but Guler’s circumstances have changed considerably. For much of last season, Guler struggled to secure regular opportunities in Madrid’s first team. His situation appeared similar to Odegaard’s before Arsenal brought the Norwegian to North London, raising hopes that the Turkish international could eventually follow a comparable path. However, Guler’s position has reportedly improved, making a potential departure more difficult for Arsenal to pursue.Arsenal face a setback in their pursuit of GulerGuler has become an increasingly important part of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Real Madrid, according to the information provided. His growing involvement could make the Spanish club less willing to consider offers from interested teams.Team Talk reports that Guler has dealt Arsenal a significant transfer blow by agreeing to sign a new contract with Madrid. If the agreement is completed, the midfielder could remain at the club for the foreseeable future, complicating the Gunners’ hopes of bringing him to the Premier League.Arsenal had reportedly been monitoring his situation and hoping that limited playing opportunities might eventually encourage him to consider a move. However, regular involvement at Madrid could reduce the appeal of leaving, particularly while he remains an important part of the club’s plans.(Photo by Ahmad Mora/Getty Images)Arsenal could continue monitoring Madrid’s optionsDespite the reported development, Arsenal may remain patient and continue monitoring Guler’s situation. His role within the squad could change over the coming months, while a managerial change might also influence his future at the club.Nevertheless, there is no guarantee that either development would make a transfer possible. A new contract would strengthen Madrid’s position and potentially make negotiations more complicated for any club hoping to sign him.Arsenal are also reportedly interested in another Madrid youngster, Endrick, but he is similarly heading towards remaining at the Spanish club. The Gunners could therefore face difficulties pursuing both players in the near future. While their interest may continue, Guler’s reported contract agreement represents a potential obstacle to Arsenal’s plans to strengthen their squad with one of Madrid’s emerging talents._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
