The midfielder continues to develop and has established himself as a key part of the team’s ambitions. His performances have also strengthened his position at the club, with a new contract reportedly in prospect. Carragher would not be surprised to see Arsenal reward Rice with improved terms after his continued contributions.Speaking about the midfield comparison, the Liverpool legend gave his assessment via the Metro.‘You’re now looking at arguably the best midfield player in the country alongside Declan Rice.‘I would always put Declan Rice on top of that list, certainly at the end of last season when he helped Arsenal win the title.’Carragher’s comments recognise Anderson’s impressive form while reaffirming his belief in Rice’s quality. Anderson may continue to strengthen his reputation at Manchester City, but Rice’s performances for Arsenal have kept him firmly in the conversation as one of the Premier League’s outstanding midfielders._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
