Katie Zacharia delivers her first White House press briefing – October 13, 2026White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia told reporters during her first press briefing on Tuesday that President Trump has already asked US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign from her post amid a widely reported corruption scandal. Guilfoyle, the ex-fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. and a former Fox News personality, was recently caught asking a Trump donor to pay her $100,000 Amex bill. She has also come under fire for pushing multi-billion-dollar natural gas deals across Europe and the Balkans, jet-setting, and being a partier. The Daily Mail’s Elina Shirazi asked Zacharia about Guilfoyle’s employment on Tuesday, and Zacharia stated flat-out, “We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign.”Shirazi: On Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Daily Mail has been reporting on her since last year, the president said yesterday to reporters that he is considering firing her. Do you know a timeline for that, and also, potentially, who could be on the short list to replace her if he does?Zacharia: We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well.WATCH:!function(r,u,m,b,l,e){r._Rumble=b,r[b]||(r[b]=function(){(r[b]._=r[b]._||[]).push(arguments);if(r[b]._.length==1){l=u.createElement(m),e=u.getElementsByTagName(m)[0],l.async=1,l.src="https://rumble.com/embedJS/u2vbt6g"+(arguments[1].video?'.'+arguments[1].video:'')+"/?url="+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+"&args="+encodeURIComponent(JSON.stringify([].slice.apply(arguments))),e.parentNode.insertBefore(l,e)}})}(window, document, "script", "Rumble");Rumble("play", {"video":"v7emg3m","div":"rumble_v7emg3m"});Trump on Monday told reporters at the White House that he’s “looking at” firing Guilfoyle.“Yeah, we’re not happy,” Trump said.MORE:President Trump Says He Is Considering Firing Kim Guilfoyle as US Ambassador to Greece (VIDEO)/*!
