RITES Limited recently dispatched the first rake of passenger coaches to Bangladesh Railway for a contract. This shipment is part of a larger agreement to supply 200 passenger coaches. The contract was awarded in May 2024, funded by the European Investment Bank, amounting to Rs 915 crore. The dispatched rake includes various types of coaches manufactured by Rail Coach Factory in Punjab.
