The Toffees have found the back of the net on just eight occasions, but there’s no doubt they could have scored more.Chelsea struggling defensivelyChelsea’s attacking prowess is no secret. Alonso is getting a real tune out of Chelsea trio Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, and João Pedro, but they are being somewhat let down by their leaky defence. The London club have conceded 10.2 xG so far this season, which isn’t at the level they’d expect if they want to be pushing for the Champions League places. They were much improved last time out against Bournemouth, so Alonso will be hoping that they’ve turned a corner.João Pedro the jewel in the crownThe performances of Brazilian striker João Pedro have gone to another level this season.
