A naming dispute has emerged regarding the newly constructed East-West Vidyavihar bridge in Mumbai. Shiv Sena (UBT) demands the bridge be named after late actor Nana Patekar. In contrast, BJP MLA Parag Shah has proposed Captain Smit Machchhar’s name for recognition. The bridge, which connects important local roads, is set to open soon. The civic body is considering these suggestions while determining the final name.
