Erling Haaland has sued Norwegian over a few social media posts from the World Cup campaign. Most people have seen the «plane-with-ponytail» post. Another post that apparently triggered part of the lawsuit is this one from Norwegian: A boy sitting on the pitch in lotus position, wearing a Norway jersey, with the text: “Noen andre som gleder seg til kamp i natt? 😮 ⚽” “Heia Norge 🇳🇴” Translation: “Anyone else looking forward to the match tonight?” Using someone’s likeness without permission is one thing, but can you actually trademark sitting in lotus position?
