Hello! i’m the ui designer at rift (it used to be called soar) so we built an app that keeps all of your travel and planning in one place and in the most convinent way possible, mostly for younger travellers who plan everything on their phone: rift.co what our app does: ~ one of the straongest flight search engine to find the cheapest flight ~ explore shows a map of cheap flights from where you are ~ group trip: when you have a bunch of friends flying from diffirent cities and need the closest arrival time for all ~ iMessage booking and assistance: you can text sky, our assistant, on imessage to search flights, check bookings and get updates ~ stays: shows you a clean map with all the stays nearby ~ auto-fare drop recovery: fare recovery watches your price after you book and claims eligible drops for you (usually as airline credit, not cash) all these with no added booking fees atlas (one of our coolest feature) finds hidden city fares sometimes a ticket through your city to somewhere further is cheaper, so you book that one and get off at the connection an example of the kind of thing it can find (this one’s from our site): miami → newark $239 normal ticket vs $114 with atlas we’re still adding a lot, so i’d love feedback from people who book flights often: what’s confusing? what would make this more useful? would you actually switch to it? and what can we add, and especially how is the UI lol please check out RiftCo and tell me how was your experience submitted by /u/Thesoulfindingal [link] [comments]
