Side project: a cloud your own AI can use (connect Claude or Cursor, it deploys to European clouds)

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone, I'm building Oila with a couple of friends in Helsinki. The problem trying to solve: Claude or Cursor can build a decent app in an afternoon, and for simple apps vercel and supabase is most common way to go, but the moment when it become more complex, people with no technical knowledge can have hard times configuring cloud. Oila is an MCP server that sits between your agent and the cloud to do it efficiency, safety and with low cost as possible. What I'd really like to know from people who vibe code: Where does your vibe code software run, and how did you get it there? Did your AI do it, or did you end up doing it yourself? Do you ever feel like, not knowing how cloud infrastructure works limit your creativity or what is possible to build? What broke or scared you when vibe coding? What do you pay each month to keep it running, across hosting, database, auth and so on? Have you ever given up on an app, because putting it online properly got too complicated? Harsh answers welcome. https://oila.dev/ submitted by /u/Automatic-Bicycle186 [link] [comments]
