Shivakumar will take an appropriate decision on the investigation into the alleged sting operation.Speaking to presspersons in Dharwad on Friday, Mr. Rayaraddi said that while some leaders had sought a CBI probe, others had demanded an investigation by the CID or a judicial inquiry.The Minister said that people were issuing statements on the issue as per their own understanding. “We have left the matter to the Chief Minister. He will take an appropriate decision,” he said.Amid the intensifying agitation by sugarcane growers, Mr. Rayaraddi said the farmers’ problems should be resolved at the earliest.
