/u/NighthawkCP on Move us & our stuff 5.5 hours away, but only for exact gas $.

Wait 5 sec.

My truck is an '03 extended cab with the smaller V8 gas/petrol engine and filling up that tank, which isn't even the big one, is nearly $100 right now. I get maybe 15 mpg driving it normally, let alone towing a trailer. I pulled a big one for my kids band in the past and I was lucky if I got 8-10 mpg. It could squeeze in this family but it wouldn't be the most comfy ride for 5+ hours and it would be way more than $200 in gas. To say nothing of my time and wear and tear on my truck and theoretical trailer that I just have waiting around for idiots to want to use for free.
