There's a thread in r/ClaudeAI this week about agents drifting off the plan, and one line from it stuck with me. Someone said their worst run "ended with every test green and none of the three requested features delivered". For people building side projects with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar: Have you had a "done" that turned out not to be what you asked for? How did you find out, and how long after? Where does your plan live while the agent works? A spec file, an issue, a chat, just in your head? What actually catches it now? Reading every diff, a second agent checking against the spec, a script, nothing yet? What does your setup look like (tools, where the notes live, how often you start fresh)? I'm testing against real workflows, so the boring details help. Background since someone will ask: I used to burn hours re-briefing AI tools, and I'm building something where the plan and decisions sit in the cloud and every tool reads them over MCP, so the agent works from the same plan you wrote. No link. Would that be worth paying for, or is a spec file in the repo enough? submitted by /u/Asly97 [link] [comments]
