I recently launched Volumes, an app for cataloguing the books you own, on iPhone, iPad and Mac! It started because I genuinely didn't know what was on my own shelves. I'd buy a book I already had, then fail to find one I knew was in the house somewhere, couldn't remember who I lent books to and so on. It's free forever with nothing locked. It's a passion project, and I'd much rather someone catalogues their whole library than hits a paywall halfway along a shelf. If I ever add a way to donate, it'll be exactly that, optional. There are no accounts. Your library syncs to your own iCloud, so I'm not running a server full of everyone's books, which is also kind of a relief for me and the reason why I don't need to monetise the app. It's built for big libraries with well over 1,000 books. You can scan an entire shelf under a minute, import from Goodreads, StoryGraph and LibraryThing, and filter by room or shelf. If you give it a go, I'd really like to know where you got stuck in the first five minutes. That's the bit I'm least sure about.
