Hey everyone! I'm just a guy from Italy who's really passionate about IT. I'm about to start my first job as a help desk technician, and I've always wanted to create something useful from scratch. The problem is that whenever I think about starting a project on my own, it eventually feels too big or overwhelming, and I end up not knowing where to begin. So I thought, why not find a few people who feel the same way? We live in a pretty amazing time. Almost everyone has access to a computer, the internet, AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, GitHub, and cloud services. There's so much we could potentially create, even without years of experience. I don't have a specific project in mind yet, and that's actually the point. It could be an app, a website, a cybersecurity tool, an open-source project, or something completely different. I'd love to find a small group of people who want to brainstorm ideas, learn from each other, share responsibilities, and actually build something together. I'm not an expert, and I'm not looking for experts to do the work for me. I'm just someone who enjoys technology and wants to turn that passion into something real. Of course, it would be amazing to have people with some experience who enjoy sharing their knowledge, but beginners are just as welcome. I'm still learning myself, and I think we could all help each other grow. I'm not trying to lead a team or tell anyone what to do. I'd like this to be a group of equals, where everyone can contribute ideas, make decisions, and learn along the way. Maybe we could start by getting to know each other here on Reddit, sharing ideas, and seeing where things go. Nothing too formal. My main goal is simple: gain practical experience, improve our skills, build things we can proudly add to our portfolios, and hopefully make some friends along the way. And who knows? Maybe we'll end up creating something genuinely useful. I think building something with other people would be a lot more motivating than trying to figure everything out alone. If this sounds interesting to you, leave a comment! I'd love to hear what you're learning, what interests you, or what you've always wanted to build but never got around to starting. Let's build something. :) submitted by /u/Mediocre-Primary-804 [link] [comments]
