I created a simple tool to hold the nib and feed together during pen assembly, so I don't have to pinch them with my fingers. It's designed around the geometry of JoWo #6 nib units, but might fit other similar nibs as well. The tool can be printed in PLA on a regular FDM printer. The one in the photo was printed in PA12S using MJF technology. I thought it might be useful to others in the community, so I'm sharing the model for free. You are welcome to download, print, and use it! https://makerworld.com/models/3461802-fountain-pen-nib-unit-wrench Note: Please don't use this to force a stuck nib unit loose. Excessive torque can damage the nib or feed. I'd love to hear your thoughts or feedback if you try it out! submitted by /u/Zidar137 to r/fountainpens [link] [comments]
