Yes, I know, everyone has a typing app. I made one anyway, and I think you’ll like it too. TypingAce is a hobby project. I built it to help my kids learn to type as they go through grade school. Schools rely on computers more every year, but they spend almost no time teaching kids to actually type. As an elder millennial who grew up on Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, that bothered me, so I made something for my own kids and figured others might find it useful too. It has a complete curriculum, plus the Daily Ace: a Wordle-style challenge that gives you one attempt a day at a new text. It’s scored on words per minute and accuracy, with a global leaderboard. It’s free and always will be. Give it a try and let me know what you think. https://typingace.app/ submitted by /u/Mega-what [link] [comments]
