My first paid Mac app, and the launch video, both built with Claude Code

Wait 5 sec.

Six months ago I'd never used Claude. This month I shipped CallLane, a Mac menu-bar app, and got 3 sales before launching it anywhere. The problem it solves: when a FaceTime, Zoom or WhatsApp call starts, macOS turns your music and shows down to a whisper. And when a call or dictation app turns on your AirPods mic, the AirPods switch to muffled call quality. My partner and I watch shows together over FaceTime, and I dictate a lot, so both hit me every day. The video above was made entirely by Claude Code (HTML scenes rendered to video). I didn't touch an editor, I just gave feedback for a day. I'm still a bit amazed by that part. Would love feedback on the video: does it make the problem clear in the first few seconds? submitted by /u/ravann4 [link] [comments]
