My side project is a multiplayer browser game set in real Italian cities

Wait 5 sec.

I’m building Sangimon. The idea is to take real Italian cities and turn them into places you can explore in pixel art, with other players and quests tied to the locations. I’ve been spending a lot of time on the maps: keeping the streets, squares and landmarks in the right places, then working on the details that make each city feel different. This clip shows the maps from above before zooming down into them. It’s already playable in the browser: https://www.sangimon.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=satellite&utm_content=sideproject I’d be interested to hear how the first few minutes feel if you try it, especially whether it’s clear where to go and what to do. submitted by /u/jacopotaba [link] [comments]
