Wait 5 sec.

Last week's fastest maidens are a clean sweep for Belmont Park.5-BADITTUDE, BEL, 10/7-2nd, 1m, VIDEOBeyer Speed Figure-82 (2nd)(f, 2, Uncle Mo–Donatella, by Bernardini)O-Repole Stable. B-WinStar Farm (Ky). T-Todd Pletcher. J-Ricardo Santana Jr.This Repole/Pletcher Uncle Mo filly continues to develop, hooking up almost at the start with Mioruilt (below) and engaging in a stretch battle that took them 9 1/2 lengths clear of the others. This was her third start, with a consistent forward Beyer progression. Her first two dams were unraced. Second dam True Style is a half-sister to the late Scat Daddy, multiple Grade I winner and sire of Triple Crown winner Justify.4-PAY THE PIPER, BEL, 10/8-2nd, 1 1/8mT, VIDEOBeyer Speed Figure-83(g, 3, Twirling Candy–Lipstick City, by City Zip)O-Flanagan Racing. B-Dixiana Farms (Ky). T-Chad Brown. J-Flavien Prat.Sean Flanagan's turf runner has gradually gotten a little better as distances have increased; he was second at Saratoga going 1 3/16 miles with an 80 Beyer and topped that by three points in this wire-to-wire victory in his sixth start. The encouraging Saratoga effort Sept. 2 came one day after his dam–bought by Dixiana for $325,000 in 2019–was resold in a digital sale for $16,000.2-(tie) MIORUILT, BEL, 10/7-2nd, 1m, VIDEOBeyer Speed Figure-83(f, 2, Good Magic–Tamboz, by Tapit)O-Fifty Eighty Stables. B-Dell Ridge Farm (Ky). T-Chad Brown. J-Flavien Prat. The game debut winner was the first official starter ever recorded for Fifty Eighty Stables, who purchased her for $385,000 as a yearling at Keeneland September. Tamboz (a full-sister to Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner Tapizar) was 1-for-21 on the track and has produced no stakes winners from 11 foals to race, but that is highly misleading: among her foals have been Creative Minister, third in the Preakness; Battalion Runner, second in the Wood Memorial and now a stallion; Oceanwave, beaten a neck in the Fantasy and a runner in the Kentucky Oaks; and Tiznoble, who ran five Beyers of 90-plus and was second in the Woodchopper Stakes.2-(tie) HULLABALOO RAY RAY, BEL, 10/10-1st, 6 1/2f, VIDEOBeyer Speed Figure-83(c, 2, Jackie's Warrior–Applauding, by Congrats)O-Glen Hill Farm. B-Hunter Valley Farm (Ky), T-Tom Proctor. J-Jose Lezcano. From the first crop of speedy Jackie's Warrior, the blaze-faced colt's 4 1/2-length second-out win was perhaps the most visually impressive on this week's list, earning him a 'TDN Rising Star presented by Hagyard' label. Among those the $250,000 yearling buy dominated was Coolmore's runner-up Art Museum, a $1.5-million son of Into Mischief–Point of Honor. In addition to being a very promising runner before she went wrong in her fourth start (after three wins), dam Applauding is also a full-sister to the dam of Kentucky Oaks winner Shedaresthedevil.1-SALVATION, BEL, 10/8-5th, 1m, VIDEOBeyer Speed Figure-87(c, 4, Palace Malice–Lovely Rate, by Exchange Rate)B-Three Chimneys Farm (Ky). O/T-Mertkan Kantarmaci. J-Ricardo Santana Jr.Salvation made Five Fastest Maidens twice successively last fall when second in two of New York's fastest maiden races of 2025, earning 94 Beyers in both, and now he finally graduates in his 10th try. He returned in 2026 after an eight-month absence for $55,000 claiming and was taken by Kantarmaci. This 3 1/2-length score was his first start for his new connections and back for the same $55,000 tag, this time with no takers. Going back a ways, he hails from the same extended female family as Any Given Saturday and New Money Honey. The post A Belmont Sweep: Five Fastest Maidens for the Week of Oct. 5-11 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
