Life Is Good, the only top-five North American freshman sire represented by a Grade I winner this year with GI Hopeful Stakes winner The Good Life, will head the WinStar stallion rooster for 2027. The quickest first-crop sire to reach five 'TDN Rising Stars, presented by Hagyard' and tied with both studmate Constitution and Europe's Kingman (GB) as the only freshman sires ever to secure five 'Rising Stars' among their first 2-year-old runners, will stand for $125,000 next year. Perennial leading sire Constitution, whose top runners this year include recent GI Claiborne Breeders' Futurity hero American History, will stand for $110,000 next year.In addition, WinStar will welcome recently retired GI Florida Derby winner Tappan Street–like Life Is Good, a son of Into Mischief–to the breeding shed in 2027. The only horse to beat Sovereignty (Into Mischief) during his Horse of the Year campaign in 2025, Tappan Street will stand his first season for $15,000.“We're so excited to announce our 2027 roster led by Life Is Good and Constitution,” said WinStar's Director of Bloodstock Services Liam O'Rourke. “The incredible start for Life Is Good has only strengthened our optimism that he can reach the top echelons of the stallion ranks.“Constitution has had another tremendous year with Grade I winner American History among many graded stakes horses. Tappan Street is an elite son of Into Mischief who is getting rave reviews from breeders.“We believe there is strength, value, and excitement at all points of our roster and our team looks forward to working with breeders across the country this year.”The complete 2027 WinStar Farm roster with fees, all stands and nurses, follows:Life Is Good – $125,000Constitution – $110,000Patch Adams – $25,000Cogburn – $20,000Tappan Street – $15,000 *NewMullikin – $10,000Straight No Chaser – $10,000Timberlake – $10,000Nashville – $10,000Heartland – $7,500Audible – $7,500Take Charge Indy – $7,500Two Phil's – $7,500Promises Fulfilled – $2,500The post Life Is Good Anchors WinStar Roster for 2027 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
