Juddmonte's Disco Time (Not This Time) snapped a baby three-race skid in a classy Belmont allowance heat Wednesday afternoon, his first appearance since finishing down the field in the GI Churchill Downs Stakes on Kentucky Derby day May 2.The homebred colt rattled off five wins on the trot to begin his career, taking out the 2025 GIII Lecomte Stakes and–following an eight-month hiatus–the valuable St. Louis Derby last September and the Nov. 8 Dwyer Stakes. Eighth as the favorite in the GI Pegasus World Cup Jan. 28, he could do no better than second at 2-5 in Tampa's GIII Challenger Stakes Mar. 7 and was never truly involved when last seen behind GI Breeders' Cup Sprint aspirant T O Elvis (Volatile) beneath the Twin Spires five-plus months ago.Facing three other black-type winners here at 82 cents on the dollar, Disco Time was scrubbed along early after making contact with the gate, but slid through at the fence to make the running through an opening quarter in :22.60. Firmly in front approaching the stretch, the burly dark bay was mostly under hand urging from Manny Franco to prove a comfortable winner.A four-time stakes winner and third in the GII Honorable Miss Handicap, Pennsylvania-bred Disco Chick is also represented by a yearling Yaupon filly that sold to Lindy Farms for $200,000 at last month's Keeneland September Sale and a weanling filly by Justify. She is due to Gun Runner for her 2027 produce.6th-Belmont, $106,700, Alw (C), Opt.
